【１】Akita Kantou Festival (Reserved seat)

・The shining dike lamps are lowered and a 13-meter-high, 60-kilogram pole is carried by young men in white tabi socks on their shoulders, waists, and foreheads as they walk down the main street in a river of light. The dike lamps resemble rice bales and the pole is an ear of rice.
Located in Nagasaki City, Kazagashira Hill offers a scenic view of the city and is home to a prominent statue of Sakamoto Ryoma, one of Japan’s most beloved historical figures. Ryoma was a visionary samurai and key player in the movement to modernize Japan during the final years of the Edo period.
